my local pharmacy stopped doing repeat prescriptions so i oped for a online pharmacy website.Unfortunately sometimes it takes a bit longer to get here.

Thank goodness i am not seeing the mother in law this christmas or i would lose my mind. But now feeling unwell without my meds and unsure what i should do.

Go to your local pharmacy, explain that you’ve run out and ask if they can lend you some just until the doctors can get you a new prescription. I’ve done that before with sertraline.

If they won’t, then go to your nearest walk in centre or urgent care centre and ask for a prescription - they’ll be able to see from your records that you are supposed to be taking it.

It’s really not safe or sensible to stop taking those kind of drugs without medical supervision, you need to get some more.

If you ring 111 they can get you a prescription faxed to a pharmacy locally to you so that you can go and get them.
They do this allot.

I had a prescription for it put through as an emergency by GP over the phone once when I ran out in similar circumstances
I was told it’s an emergency because you really shouldn’t stop without being advised and supervised by a medical professional
Go to a walk in, they will find a way to get you a prescription
