Psychologist has given me some exercises to reduce the anxiety but today i flipped over the way dp spoke to me over something and i saw red and ever since i have had tight throat, palpitations, feel really drained.

Concentrate on just your breathing. Inhale as deep as you can through your nose and then exhale as slowly as you can through your mouth as if you were blowing out of a straw. Do this 10 times and repeat until you start to feel a little more relaxed. Then run yourself a warm bubbly bath and get in it and repeat.

have done the 'square'breathing but the anxiety wont go.
Have already had a bath so can't do that.

Just keep on doing the breathing and distract yourself with little tasks such as making a cuppa or moisturising your legs or tidying a drawer...put on some nice calm music or really loud stuff and sing along. It WILL go..sometimes it just takes a while and the drained exhausted feeling is all the adrenalin still going spare in your body with no use for it. A short walk maybe a plan come to think of it Good luck.

god it's exhausting isn't it.

I do a breathing exercise that works for me

breathe in for a count of seven, through your nose

breathe out for a count of eleven, through your mouth

clap your feet together at the same time, and keep your eyes shut.

KE$EP GOING because the reason most breathing things don't work is that anxiety makes you overestimate the amount of time you have been doing something

Will keep trying then.

No dior i'm not taking any AD's,haven't for 12 months now.
