Is your teen having unusual thoughts? Are they feeling mistrustful of others?
If so, they could be eligible to participate in paid research. The Adolescent Development and Preventive Treatment (ADAPT) Program is a federally funded research clinic in the Psychology Department of Northwestern University. ADAPT is seeking to help adolescents and young adults between the ages of 12 and 24 who may be at risk for developing a thought disorder. Our aim is to develop insight for predicting thought disorders based on symptoms, to understand changes in brain functioning, and to develop new and effective treatments. We work with participants, their families, and current clinicians to provide appropriate referrals and/or detailed feedback to our participants.
