Losing track of time

This is a slightly random one but I was wondering whether anyone feels like they lose track of time and things that happened relatively recently feel like they happened years ago? I'm not really sure how to describe it but, for example, today someone asked me when my birthday was. My birthday was two days ago but I couldn't remember that and it feels like much longer ago than that. I can barely remember it to be honest. For context, I have severe depression at the moment and have been battling anxiety, ptsd and anorexia for the last 18 months or so.

Being disorientated in time is not uncommon in the middle of an episode of severe depression and other complex mental health difficulties. Are you getting support? Do you have a nurse or psychiatrist? It's definitely worth telling them about it if so x

Thank you - that's reassuring to hear in a way. I do have a very good psychiatrist and I'm seeing him tomorrow so I will raise it. Thanks again.
