I am due to be going for a Band 6 interview at a psychiatric hospital. Any ideas about what you are asked?

I would look down the person specification, particularly at the skills/competencies bit as that should give you a fair guide.

I would have thought you would be asked about some or all of the below, possibly in a 'competency' style interview where you will be asked to give examples of where you have demonstrated the competency or skill required. Make sure you have some examples prepared and answer using the STAR (situation, task, action, result) format.

-Why you want the role
-Your strengths and weaknesses/development points
-Leadership and management, experience of supervision and teaching, working with students
-Quality and safety
-Clinical developments and CPD
-Team working
-Problem solving and overcoming barriers
-If the trust has a specific set of 'values' or behaviours how you demonstrate and incorporate these into your work
-Equality and Diversity inc. how you take into account and manage the needs of patients from different backgrounds
-Safeguarding
-Patient confidentiality

Hope this helps!
