advice about AD's

Can anyone give me some idea of what to expect starting AD's and what it's like when you stop using them.

I have some elements of depression, but CBT for PTSD is getting really nasty. I have been told that specific AD's can help with this. I guess I am just wanting some people's experiences with starting and finishing using AD's so I can get some idea what to expect.

ADs often make you feel a bit ill to start with. Common side effects are dry mouth, headaches, nausea and fatigue. It takes about 10-14 days for ADs to build up enough in your system for you to start feeling the benefit but after 14 days you should start to feel better and the side effects should have calmed down.

Different ADs suit different people and the only way to know if one is going to suit you is to try it. I have come off three different types of ADs and I haven't experienced any problems when I stopped taking them.
