just that really!

I'm one anxious, depressed, fearful mess!

is anyone else like this as winter draws in?

due to my office having no access to daylight (yep no windows) i get no more than an hour of sunlight during winter and its suffocating. dark when i arrive and leave (07:45 -18;30) its making me hyperventilate.

I wish we could hibernate until spring.....

I have a lot of difficulty at this time of year. It had been getting less over the past few years, but this time it has hit me earlier than usual and harder than its been for years, so much for thinking I was getting it under control! So its not just you x

I always think I will be fine every year, but as Christmas approaches I turn into a mess. I lost a baby before Christmas over a decade ago and it still hits me like a train. It's an absolute roller coaster of a month for me the lows of the loss, the High of my ds birthday and then Christmas for all my dcs. I loathe the lack of sunlight but can't use a light as they bring on ocular migraines for me. So I just try to exercise and muddle through. Hugs to you both as I really do get how hard it is xxx be kind to yourselves xxx

awww thank you.

I'm so sorry for what you went through obviously i cannot imagine how difficult it must be. I had an ectopic this time 2 years ago and i constantly have the "whats ifs" all the time.

I'm going to the gym 2x a day now to keep the endorhpins going, so many invites for drink start end of November through December so the workouts stop me giving in as alcohol makes me so much worse too!

only 12 weeks o go until it starts to get lighter xx

Have you considered buying a SAD light? I person I work with use her light everyday in the winter months

Yes, a guy at work mentioned that? I work in the motor trade and a few of the men that work here get it, he has one at home. I might have to order onr today x

Yes I fall apart underneath. I exist for DS but underneath I'm really sad and lonely at this time of year

It's worth a try. I work in an office with horrible lighting. I love the warmth and light of the summer month's.
