I’ve very recently been diagnosed with BPD after having a breakdown at the end of September. I’m doing much better and have been given a mood stabilisers alongside my antidepressants (and occasional zoplicone) which seems to be helping. I’m struggling to get my head around what being diagnosed actually means for me - it’s my personality so pretty much it’s me that’s broken?!

Does anyone have any good blog / website recommendations where I can read other peoples BPD experiences?

I was mistakenly diagnosed with bpd but now am told I only have traits of it and have schizo affective disorder.

Please don't do what I did and look online randomly - especially at U.S resources as they are very negative & nasty about people with bpd.

Look at the websites for MIND & Rethink Mental Illness.

I was diagnosed with BPD two years ago when I was 25, and it was just a relief to find out what was going on with me.

There's the blog lifeinabind.

Other books I've gone through:

I hate you don't leave me.
