Getting on well with 5-htp! Considering Rhodiola rosea - any experiences?

I suffer from anxiety and depression. Mainly anxiety, it manifests itself fairly physically (teeth grinding, tense jaw) and keeps me tense all day and all night, which leaves me feeling wiped out constantly. I started noticing that I always felt much better if I managed to get a restful nights sleep so I recently decided to try 5-htp.

I've been taking 200mg tablet every night before bed since last Monday - its made an amazing difference. So far every night I've slept like a baby and not woken again until morning. I am starting to feel much better during the day but it does leave me a bit sleepy in the mornings (I think because I could sleep longer but I have a 10 month old that likes to get up at 6.30!)

Considering trying Rhodiola rosea during the day time, which is suppose to be stress reliving but also anti-fatigue. Does anyone take it / have any experience of it?
