Fluoxetine/Prozac Bruising?

I've been taking fluoxetine for 4 months and in this time I've noticed strange bruising.

I have a bruise on my thigh that's just appeared today and it's getting steadily bigger and more tender. I've not banged my leg at all...

This is only the second time it's happened so I'm a bit unsure. There is also a smaller one near my hip and bikini line.

Anybody else experienced this?

You should see or speak to your gp tomorrow. It is one of the rarer side effects of SSRI's.
If you have any other signs of abnormal bleeding ie when you go to the loo or vomiting you should get advice immediately.
