Something for anxiety

I'm having to come off my sertraline as it's making my anxiety worse. My heart races and I sit and shake. I'm now taking propranolol regularly for the anxiety.

I'm worried about the depression coming back, which it probably will in around a month as this is the usual pattern.

Is there anything that's usually prescribed for severe anxiety alongside something for depression? Obviously not a benzo and I don't want to be zonked out either.

I have ptsd and basically want to live out my days in a non frightened state and only meds seem to offer this. Talking therapy is out as it makes me worse and I'm autistic so cbt doesn't work.

I have to be prescribed diazepam on and off for PTSD though and sleepers at times... Sorry probably not what you wanted to hear but it's the reality sometimes X

Sorry you have this.
Professional advice is important and I am not much help but if you wanted to try a natural supplement just as an extra I did meet a naturopath who strongly said vitamin B8 (inositol) should have an affect on helping anxiety.

Just seen others have better advice and do hope you can find the right thing
