I used to be like that. I think this is the first year in November, in the past 16 years, where I've gone completely the other way, and was more happy and productive in the summer. I just assumed I had SAD so didn't really bother getting treatment, thinking I could handle it on my own.

My knee's still a bit sore, but this is the first time I've sat down since 10am this morning, so I'll probably feel differently when I go to get up again!

Iblinkedandiamold · 17/11/2018 21:17

Oh my Gosh, Ireland have just beaten the all Blacks. Grin
I can finally breath again. Heart stopping match

BippityBoppity87 · 17/11/2018 22:34

I haven't watched any of the rugby. We were showing it at our work and we were quite busy for a couple of hours, but I never really watched it. I take you're Irish? Grin or just a massive Irish rugby fan? Haha

Iblinkedandiamold · 17/11/2018 22:45

I'm Irish and a rugby fan. Grin I have no idea of the rules but still like to watch it.

BippityBoppity87 · 17/11/2018 22:48

Haha! I'm in Scotland. So with Scotland playing today, it was all a bit well..busy! Grin

BippityBoppity87 · 18/11/2018 14:49

I don't think I've seen a more accurate meme for my life right now. Just thought I'd share Grin

BippityBoppity87 · 18/11/2018 14:51

Blasting music from head phones. Started cleaning and now I'm bored. Started cleaning the oven and now I'm like why, why did I think this was good idea. And I haven't eaten yet, I thought a few hours ago, right I'm hungry need to eat, I still haven't. Keep forgetting!

Fairydust26 · 18/11/2018 15:12

BippityBoppity87 cleaning the oven can be such a horrid job think that’s why some people make a living by cleaning ovens ha!.

I’m having a chilled Sunday going to wrap some Xmas presents that I managed to get on some early Black Friday deals! And looking forward to watching I’m a celeb later😆.

BippityBoppity87 · 18/11/2018 19:14

Ah yes! I forgot that was on! Might watch it too Smile

Iblinkedandiamold · 18/11/2018 21:33

I'm watching A Star is Born, it is so much better than the original one. Bradley Cooper.

BippityBoppity87 · 19/11/2018 05:02

I think I managed to watch about half an hour of I'm a Celeb and went to bed. I don't know if it was just because I was tired, but I was feeling very irritable and generally pissed off. I'm guessing tiredness, as I feel better today.

How's everyone getting on?

Iblinkedandiamold · 19/11/2018 06:45

I need to get up. I am going to be late for work but I can't. My bed is so comfortable and it's cold out there.

BippityBoppity87 · 19/11/2018 08:06

Haha I can imagine! I didn't get a great sleep last night as my knee kept waking me up in pain, then my DC kept waking up. I'm working til 4 today, I feel fine now, but I think I'll probably crash by lunch time!

BippityBoppity87 · 19/11/2018 08:50

I just googled because I'm bored at work how many hours does the average person stay awake during the day, 16 max apparently. Last week I counted 20 hours twice in a row, that's insane when I think about it! Almost a full day! But I don't realise at the time.

Iblinkedandiamold · 19/11/2018 18:41

Wow Bippity that is insane. I don't sleep well, I wake up a few times during the night that's why I am so tired. I was awake before my alarm this morning but just didn't want to get up.

The foo fighters have just announced an Irish show. I am going to need another loan to pay off my Credit Card if they keep announcing brill acts to play in Ireland. Grin

BippityBoppity87 · 19/11/2018 20:34

Yep! I've been awake since half 4 this morning and I still feel wide awake.

Hairytangerine · 19/11/2018 20:51

Hi all,

Long history of anxiety and depression. Currently off work. Feel so scared with palpitations that frighten me.

Feel so numb and scared!

How is everyone else?

Fairydust26 · 19/11/2018 21:02

Hi Hairytangerine I know the feeling.. tbh any of the physical symptoms of anxiety frighten me too. The slightest twinge or whatever it may be is enough to send me into a tail spin! Then the cycle begins It can be so exhausting sometimes.

BippityBoppity87 gosh I would of zonked out by now hopefully you’ll sleep well tonight!

BippityBoppity87 · 19/11/2018 21:10

I know I should go to bed Fairydust26 I'll try and go to bed. I'm feeling very impulsive right now. I think with age, I've realised when I'm starting to lose control, not always, but I feel like I'm tip toeing on the edge at the moment,

Iblinkedandiamold · 19/11/2018 21:47

You need sleep in order to start to feel better. Can you take anything to help you sleep? Is your partner able to look after baby if you do?
I listen to an app to help me sleep although it's more to drown out the sound of Silence. Not able to get used to it.

Iblinkedandiamold · 19/11/2018 21:49

Hi hairytangerine. I used to get that too. I get spells of dizziness now, wonder if it's age. Was outside today and looked up, the clouds were moving very fast and made me dizzy.
The women I work with said she felt dizzy when she looked at the ground coming out. Grin

BippityBoppity87 · 19/11/2018 22:02

He looks after him more than I do most times. Well it feels like that sometimes. I just realised I thought about leaving the country when I was on the bus, my DC didn't even cross my mind.

Oh god, just remembered, my DC's key worker from nursery came into my work today, just having a coffee, didn't know I worked there ( I work in a bar/restaurant) and it just took me by surprise, as I was standing there with a few work pals having a couple of beers. I was like, oh hi! But she knows about my mental health issues and stuff, still felt a bit..oh umm..just having a 'quiet' couple of pints. I felt like I had been caught out, like in primary/secondary school. Sounds silly, but that's how I felt!

Iblinkedandiamold · 19/11/2018 22:37

I feel like that when I meet parents of my class when I am out. I feel like I shouldn't be drinking or doing anything except sitting a corner quietly. They don't care though and usually just want to talk about how their kids are getting on.

Hope you get some sleep. I am trying to go to bed but I insisted on watching an episode of the good place and now I am too tired to move.

BippityBoppity87 · 20/11/2018 14:36

I was a bit tipsy (2 pints after being up since half 4, understandably!) Haha! So I was a lot more chatty than usually. I could se ever looking at me like hmm she's very vibrant today! They know I have mental health issues, but mainly depression.

Anyone like Ollie Murs' new song? Love it, dancing around my living room to it haha! I think that music video (if you've seen it) is like the music version of me. No lie!
