Just putting it out there. What do people think? Does anyone use it?
I was looking at buying some for my anxieties....even though I am on antidepressants.....
Is this a more natural way?
Way to expensive though 🤷‍♀️

Any feedback back greatly appreciated x

I used CBD oil and I can't rate it highly enough, do go with a proper company who know what they are doing as it needs to be high strength. The Holland & Barrett stuff is weak and not well regarded. It is a case of the more you pay the higher the strength and the decent companies can and do offer samples of the strengths to see what works best for you. I use CBD Brothers blue & white oils

I started using CBD oil for my anxiety/depression at the beginning of this year. At that time my head was constantly in overdrive worrying about EVERYTHING and more and about four days after I started with the CBD oil I suddenly realised that for the first time in what felt like forever I had a calm moment where I was just in the moment without worrying about a thousand things at once (apparently it takes a while to build up in your body and make a difference). Those moments increased a lot and after a while and when I happened to go back to worrying senselessly I usually realised that I've been not been taking my CBD oil drops regularly for a while... I don't know how much it helps with depression to be honest but it definitely helped with my mind going mad with useless thoughts and indirectly I suppose that does help with the depression as well.

I second the PP advice about getting a good oil, not Holland&Barrett. I'm using the blue one from CBD Brothers as well, I think it's about £17 / small bottle plus shipping which lasts me about 2 months. I think it's well worth it for the benefits I get out of it.

I've just had a look at cbd brothers and it looks like a good set up. How do you know whether you are most suited to the oil or the capsules?
I have heard it is great for sleep as well as anxiety and depression. I want to try it for myself and also Potentially then for my DD16 who struggles with anxiety and sleeplessness

Cheds cbd oils on FB is really good to, you can get 2 samples if you just pay for p&p!

GooodMythicalMorning · 06/10/2018 14:00

Is it the quality that is better as both makes are tye same in strength.

CrAzYmUmOf2 · 06/10/2018 14:16

What are the differences in the colours?
£17 is quite good for 2 months worth.
When I get paid I may just invest.

Unfortunately I don't know the different properties of the different colours on CBD brothers and because they're not allowed to sell it as a medicine for legal reasons CBD brothers themselves are legally not allowed to advise on that either. I just started on the blue one because a friend of mine gave me the first bottle as a present and as it worked I just stuck with that one.

I think you can ask them for samples though and try the different oils out for yourself and see which one suits you best, judging by the comments on their website.

Btw I started with one drop under the tongue in the morning and one in the evening. Leave it under your tongue for at least 30seconds, after that I rinse it with water as I don't particularly like the taste of it.
I increased that by one drop every few days until I was at three drops each eventually which now seems to work well for me.

Let us know how it goes if you do go for it!

artio0 · 06/10/2018 14:37

...ok last one... By rinse I meant to just swallow lots of water afterwards, not rinse and spit it out of course...

AsleepAllDay · 06/10/2018 14:43

This is really interesting

CrAzYmUmOf2 · 06/10/2018 15:09

I am going to order some and see if it helps.
Sometimes I think anything is worth a shot.
My 16yr old DD is ASD, and suffers a lot with confidence as well as social skills.
Has anyone used this with any one younger?

So far the holland and Barrett one has helped me. I definitely dont get as many anxious thoughts on it and Im sleeping better.

Rainbowhermit · 08/10/2018 15:00

Do you know if you can take CBD oils alongside prescription meds for depression?

PeasAreGreat · 08/10/2018 16:13
