began taking 10mg of citalopram last friday after being in and out of a&e for ongoing anxiety / low moods all of last week.
began feeling much better from sunday - tuesday (being able to rationalise and be optimistic) but yesterday and today i’ve been tired, weepy, and felt empty and anxious ... is this a normal side effect? been struggling with anxiety and depression for 8 years now, this is my first time on ADs
also on my period (apologies if this is tmi!) and things are rocky with my boyfriend (split up on saturday but it’s more of a ‘break’) yet somehow managed to feel good ... is this normal?
had no other side effects bar some insomnia, vivid dreams and been quite hungry. i’ve also began seeing a psychiatrist (first session today) and plan to return to university next week
any similar experiences or mood swings please let me know!
