worried about my sister...

My sis has always had a quick temper, and has been on anti-depressants several times, tho not currently on anything.

Her behaviour of late seems to be getting quite bad. And I along with my other sis and mum are quite worried about her.

Today for instance she flew into a rage because I had asked her dd (18 months) to stop punching and pushing my dd (nearly 4). I had only asked v.politely but my sis took offence.

She started screaming and swearing, really laying into me. All the children were screeching. They were scared and so was I to be honest. The more I tried to calm her down the worse she became. It was like she had literally flipped.

My mum later told me that she had gone for her partner with a knife days before. I know in the past she has thrown things at him and hit him.

My mum things she is depressed, but this seems to be somehting much worse to me. I am worried that one day she will go to far and hurt either her poartner or her dd.

Please can you offer me some advice coz I dont know what to do.
Thanx

Pink

sounds like she has serious depression. Has she been to the GPs?

she has in the past and was put on ad's but took herself off them ages ago. And there is no talking to her when she is like this.

I had a terrible temper when I had PND, when it happened with Dd1 I knew straight away I needed help and was put onto ADs.

I don't think it's pnd tbh, as she has been like this since primary school, btw I am the other sister
