As the title suggests, wondering if anyone has tried the Lumie body clocks and if they work or help with seasonal affective disorder and waking up in the mornings especially? It’s only September and I’m already struggling getting up badly! I want to try catch it early before it developed into full blown severe depression as I usually suffer most years. Would be grateful to hear of anyone’s experiences

They are really good and I would recommend one. Such a nicer way to wake up to. Try Vit D too - very cheap and easy to take.

I also recommend the Lumie, it makes getting up on dark mornings so much easier, & I second taking vitamin D tablets.

It worked too well for me, woke up within minutes of it starting the daylight simulation!

Yup I love mine- it’s a great night light as well, and it’s nice not being blinded when you knock the big light on first thing in the morning

Thank you all, I have ordered one today. I have also borrowed the Lumie desk lamp off my grandmother to try aswell, she doesn’t use it and said I could borrow it to try this winter before paying out for one myself to try. I hope it works I can’t face another 6 months of severe depression it feels like I have only just picked up the pieces from last winter lol I also take medication, vitamin is something I don’t take but am willing too, which dose do I need to take?

Get your GP to test you for cut D deficiency too much or too little can have a serious impact on your health.

I don’t get SAD but I do find them helpful for waking up well
