My DP has a host of mental struggles which he manages, ie. ocd, depression, anxiety, social anxiety and he is doing fine managing mostly but his main struggle is at work. He struggles to fit in and feels like it’s mentally exhausting getting through the day. He has left multiple jobs due to relationships at work that he feels he cannot tolerate any longer, whether it be a person he severely dislikes or even a place where he got on too well with people and enjoyed it but found it too intense having that level of connection with people.
I feel it’s time he addresses it instead of keep running, he has has cbt in the past and this is probably why he copes with all his issues but I wonder if anyone out there might have a different idea or perspective. Be really grateful for any advice as we have 2 small children and he finds it hard to help without getting stressed at the end of the day.
