Good self care now

I’m feeling very low. Too complicated to go into details but generally I am ok but just not right now. I’ve been working on low self esteem. I have an hour max before dd is up from nap and want to try to feel better. I am going to:

  1. Do the washing up
  2. A mindfulness meditation
  3. If time read a book

What I feel like doing is crying and putting the tv on. Just posting here in the hope that I do the good self care. Thank you.

my minimum effort self care is hot chocolate, ice cream or whatever snack or herbal drink and watching funny video compilations on youtube, or reading funny jokes on google.
painting my nails.

Washing up is done and kitchen is tidy. Feel a little better.

Did mindfulness meditation and feeling calmer again. So proud of myself for doing something. No time now for reading or painting nails etc as DD waking up but I might get some time tomorrow morning.

I don't know how many times a day you do MM. I would recommend 2/3 times a day. One at night before bedtime.
