I had an operation to remove an extra rib that had caused me discomfort for 10 years ,it was successful and I'm 8 months post op , I still had the symptoms but I was 1 million % better , and I put it down to its in my head now . . Hoewever it's getting worse , and I'm suffering with back and chest pain ( costocondritus )... What was the point of all that pain of the op just to feel the same . I want to die I cant live like this anymore .

Didn't want to read and run but have no knowledge or experience of what you are living. Please do speak to your doctor about this, I'm sure that they'll be able to help you with the pain x

Make an appointment with the G.P now and say its urgent. they should be able to sort you out . Also discuss being referred to the pain clinic at the hospital, they deal with people with severe ongoing pain. Pain is complex, it might not be in your head it may be something else that's why you need to get it correctly diagnosed and sorted out.
