Reducing sertraline

How slowly do people do this? I feel like my brain is sort of lagging when I turn my head, I feel dizzy and sick. Been down to 50mg from 100mg for 6 weeks and tried reducing to 25mg for the last two days. I’ve done it before and I can’t remember how long it took. The doc suggested I do it far too fast!

I'm also currently reducing and I have the same brain lag. It's as if every five mins I get a wave of dizziness...it passes over then begins again. I can't offer any advice, only reassure you that I'm experiencing the same side effects.

How long have you been reducing for?

I was on 50mg and did four weeks of every other day, then 25mg every other day for two weeks, then every third day for two weeks. After that came off altogether but knew I could go back to 25mg every 4th day if necessary, which was reassuring.

I’ve been on 100mg for years. I’m better now than I’ve been for a long time but the thought of reducing scares me.
If I miss a couple of days I get these weird brain zaps.
No advice, sorry, but moral support.

Taking 25mg first thing this morning seems to have prevented that horrible brain lag feeling. I think I’ll have to cut this in half after a few weeks, as even if I go a day without any I feel horrendous.
