I have decided that I am ringing the doctors first thing in the morning as I really need help 'coping' with my anxiety because to be honest, I'm not coping with it at all. I don't know what I'm expecting them to do, will they offer medication first off or will that be a few appointments down the line? Is there even medication you can take to help??

Sorry to hear you're feeling like this. In my experience they'll ask some questions and ask you what sort of help you would like to consider. I came away with medication on the first visit and also contact details for self referral to talking therapies. I hope you have a positive appointment with the doctor.
