I think I would best describe myself as a high functioning anxiety but recently becoming increasingly aware of how anxiety has affected my life and impacted on my family. I have developed a MASSIVE phobia that I believe masks / is an outlet for my anxiety. I have lived with phobia for 17 years. I am addressing it in as assertive and compassionate way possible.
Please could share your success stories / top tips that I can refer to when in the full throes of a panic reaction to give me the confidence to stay with it rather run in the opposite direction. I really want to be able to manage my phobia rather than IT manage me.
Thank you for sharing. Love MN for this.
