Anyone else on this combination? If so did it work? I’ve just had my ven increased and started on the Quetiapine.
No diagnosis as yet just a depressive episode and currently in a psych hospital

I take 375mg venlafaxine and 800mg quetiapine, I have been on this for a long time.
At first I think it helped but for the last few years things have been getting worse for me but my psychiatrist won’t change them as I don’t cope well with medication changes.
The quetiapine used to knock me out, make me sleepy through the day but now I don’t have any sedative affects from them.

I don’t know if this has been any help.

Treatment is different from person to person. There’s not a magic combination that works for everyone. Every case is different and it takes time to find the right medication for each patient. I have been on quetiapine for years and I think it was useful I am not sure though. I’m just being honest sorry if this doesn’t helo
