Lymph nodes tender points not coping

I posted a few days ago as I was thinking of going privately and having an u/a scan for enlarged nodes in my groin. I decided not to as my go examined me again and said it was just not necessary as she didn’t feel they were anything to worry about.
I felt so reassured for a day and then I felt yesterday I have an area of tenderness on the back of my thigh not too far from nodes that I am scared about😔
I feel like it could be psychosomatic pain but I have never had this were it actually hurts to touch?
I just hate the fact my doctor said it was ok but then find something else.
The worry spiral continues and I am starting to struggle to look after my daughters because of it completely consuming me.
Starting CBT in three weeks but I just need reassurance that no body thinks this pain is related.
Does anyone else suffer with tender spots?
I am in hell

I have health anxiety so I know where you're coming from. Reassure yourself you've seen a doctor and they've said nothing to worry about. I can't see how a tender spot somewhere else would be related? Could you call your doctor on the morning and ask for an emergency appointment - my gp usually calls back to see if it's an emergency so they may be able to reassure you over the phone.

And then you won't have to use an appointment!

Please get another appt with your GP - make it a double- discuss the new symptom but also tell the GP that your anxiety is starting to affect your every day life too. Anxiety can spiral out of control quickly.

I will I just can’t convince myself it isn’t cancer. 😔 I also can’t tell myself it’s not related. I wish I could stop. What can I do?
Thankyou both for replying to me so much x

Your GP may order a blood test which will hopefully provide more solid reassurance and the CBT should help eventually. Also short term meds are very effective for anxiety.
