My DH suffers from travel anxiety and his job involves some traveling. He is okay traveling around an hour away as it's quite close to home, but any further he has panic attacks and struggles with it.
His boss asked him to do a customer site visit which is around 4 hours away. DH refused to go due to his anxiety and said that he's had this for years (which he has) and his boss requested a doctors note. DH called the doctors to get this note and has since provided this to his boss, his boss is now requesting a HR meeting about this.
What are his rights about this? DH is worried that they might sack him for this? DH has been discriminated in the past due to his anxiety, and this has also effected us going on holiday together so it's not just it's work that it's affecting.
Any help would be appreciated!
