Scared of going to bed

I have always struggled with sleeping but lately my anxiety seems to have gotten much worse at night.

I'm not sure if it is the heat or what but I seem to still be awake till the early hours. I cannot switch off, my mind is racing and worrying and it's like I just feel so alone and trapped with my thoughts.

I dread the nighttime now as it just seems like horrible time for me. Scared of nightmares too.
Anyone else like this?

What is it that's worrying you.
Nightmares are awful, I had them when I suffered a breveament.

Yep, nightmares every night for over 10 years. Things that have helped me fall asleep are a good bedtime routine, mindfulness, weird sleep hypnosis stuff I find on YouTube.

I haven't found a way to make the nightmares stop yet, though I am in therapy for it, I just try to accept that then aren't real.
