My mom is getting the results of her mouth biopsy tomorrow and i am really scared
I have depression and anxiety and worrying over this has made me quite anxious tonight.Had tried to brush it away but mom said tonight "I have my results tomorrow ,say a prayer !"
I am terrified of what the result may be
I would not cope if anything was seriously wrong.

Thinking of you and good luck for tomorrow. You would be able to cope because your Mum would need you, but I really hope it's good news.

Do all you can to get a good nights sleep and busy yourself with a huge house task tomorrow, like clearing out top of your wardrobe, kids draws, under the stairs or whatever youve been meaning to do for ages.

I hope all goes well.

littlepicklesmum · 30/05/2007 18:53

How are things? I have been thinking of you today.
Sending lots of love.

Beauregard · 30/05/2007 19:22

Thankyou you are very kind.
They have diagnosed Lichen Planus so we are very relieved

I cannot however shake this anxiety and i have read that in severe cases the ulcers can turn cancerous so i am still worried at the moment.

Thankyou all for thinking of us.

Glad you received reassuring news about your mum, PFNM.

Boco · 31/05/2007 13:44

It's hard when you have a build up of anxiety, and then it's good news, there's nowhere for all that stress to go - you feel like it should all melt away - but it doesn't.

I felt like that when my dd2 was having tests, they kept leaving us with just tiny chances something was still wrong - and you need something to do with all the worry you've been carrying around, so you won't let yourself just relax because you can't.

However, it does sound like only in severe cases, and they've picked up on your mums problem and she has a diagnosis, so hopefully you will start to lose that fear now. It really does sound like great news, i hope you start to relax and feel better, it just takes a bit of time xxx
