My anxiety is through the roof atm. I have 2 SEN children, a H with aspergers and a boss who is horrible to me. My eldest child finishes Y6 next wee and he's having a tough time coping
I need time off for my own sanity and health but worried what it will look like at work. Plus the time signed off will be over my holiday too which means my annual leave will be recorded as sick leave and I'm worried that will look like I'm taking the pee.
Thoughts anyone? X

If your scheduled to have annual leave anyway could you not make it until then? And then after your holiday if you still feel the same you could hand a sick line in then?

I wouldn't tbh as it is a vicious circle. If you feel you can continue working then it's better to.

Is this a case of everything has got on top of you and you need some respite or is it that your current set up is not sustainable? If the former then I would consider it, although if you have holiday booked I would stick it out until then.

Sick leave aside, what changes do you need to make long term to make life more manageable?
