So today's day 6! Thank you so much to those of you who commented on my first post and encouraged me to take the plunge and finally take them. First day was weird, second was awful with dizziness and floating around, third and fourth included a headache and irritability, 5th and today I've just felt sort of strange....ok, good, but a bit strange. I plan to continue taking them....Still struggling with the thought of putting something in to my body but I plan to continue with 10mg for a week before returning to the docs to talk it through with them.
No real reason for my post...more of a way to express myself. Thanks for the support x

I was like you, but it’s nothing especially the level your on. Most those feeling and symptoms are coming from you worrying. Most of England are on them and I haven’t met many people who haven’t taken them at some point. You won’t get the effects of them truly until 4 weeks or so, some people don’t and have to go up.
You wouldn’t think twice about given a child calpol, take a breath and be proud of your self for getting help, that’s the real change. Not the pills but that you went and got help and actually accepted the help.
The mind causes symptoms.
I hated the idea of not being in control, but higher doses are given to children so there’s absolutely nothing to worry about.
You go girl!!! Keep on helping you!

Wow i often wonder why medication affects people in such different ways. I take 40mg of citalopram as well as mirtazapine and queitapine and have never had any side effects at all.

So i would definitely stick with it if i were you.
