How much support is too much?

The crisis team have visited twice today, and someone will ring this evening, then they'll visit tomorrow morning (which I wasn't expecting, as my temp SW is working crisis tomorrow, and he'd already arranged to come in the afternoon). They asked how I felt about hospital again (a big no from me).

Will there come a point where they will say that the risk in the community is too great? Should I start saying I'm fine?

Any advice welcomed, needless to say I'm struggling at the moment...

Please be honest with them.

I was, they've given me some diazepam, which has taken the edge off.

I was sectioned onto a section 3 at the weekend, an hour from home

Hope this is a short stay. Feel very lonely.

Your probably in the best place(although I’ve never been on psych ward) is it your local hospital, your lucky there’s a bed
How you doing today? As anybody been to see you dr, nurse etc?
Are you allowed outside, it’s sunshining.

I’ve just rang the Raid team at local hospital as I’m very down and feel numb no interest what’s so ever. In s world of my own

Not my local hospital, that’s 15 mins from home, so no visitors. It was the nearest with a bed. Not allowed out.

I hope the raid team can help, is that like crisis team?

Is it a psych ward your on? Or just a hospital with a bed?
Are they looking at your meds for you?
Would you rather be in there or at home?
Is there anyone in there you can connect with? That’s if your upto it
Was you at risk to yourself?

I’ve only just got assessed by secondary mh care last week, it’s taken 3 trips to see raid at hospital with suicidal thoughts
Who just tell me have I got diazepam and they will write to my gp!!! Who sent me there in the first place as she at a loss with what to do
My old psych won’t see me again
Finished with her in late 2012
She just told gp to up my meds, which I did for 8 weeks made no difference at next level up so I dropped them back down
This as been ongoing now for 8 mths, I’m so pissed off

A psych ward, single sex, own room. Restarting meds, don’t want to be here, hence section. Suicide plans and intent.

I hate the depression with passion and what it’s turned me into plus anxiety also

And years off this shit

Is your psych/nurses there good with you?
What are the other patients like?
Are you scared?

I’m sure if there any good you will get the right meds, but don’t let them put you on too high dose straight away
Low and build up, otherwise you’ll have really bad side effects
They like to get you on therapeutic dose ASAP and your the one that suffers the bad side effects
