I know what I've said seems pretty far-fetched, but it's what they said. They were just trying to punish me for being inferior to them, but then is telling me their norms/morals superiority?

I believe you - I am struggling with getting the NHS to accept that I have a mental illness. There is no shame to that.

Of COURSE tattoos are not a sign on mental illness however by their very nature they express such personal things. I have tattoos and they are a real positive part of my history and I intend to have more. It's all about context - I won't get tattooed again until I am well.
