Saying the wrong word all the time

It’s driving me insane. I’m getting words mixed up. I will say things like “it’s on the windowsill” instead of stairs etc. I’m typing words mixed up too. It’s happening all the time! The kids are taking the mickey out of me doing it. I don’t know what’s wrong :(

Is this a new thing? I have always reversed parts of words, par cark for example, and whole words too, but its normal for me.

Hi, sounds like a type of aphasia, how long have you had this? Is it getting progressively worse? I would suggest seeing your gp.

Iv had it for years but the past few months it’s got so much worse! I feel like I’m constantly confused and have a headache because of it.

It takes me ages to think out what I want to say like if I want to tell my partner something Iv read, it takes me ages to figure out how to explain it

I'd agree, see your gp. They'd be able to rule out a biological cause/ help you get to the route of the problem. Getting gradually worse is not a good sign, makes me think biological.
