Feeling sick on Setraline

Just started recently on Setraline for anxiety and depression (though I think its definitely more anxiety than depression). However, I feel very sick while on it. Is this common? I have ibs normally, so occasionally feeling sick isn't odd but this feels like pregnancy nausea - and I'm 100% not pregnant.

Also I have read that anxiety can get worse initially, I really don't want that to happen as I have enough difficulty at the moment.

Yes. Nausea very common. I started taking Sertraline three and a half weeks ago for anxiety and low mood. Had nausea for 3 or 4 days. All gone now. No side effects and am starting to feel better.

What dose did you both start on?
My dd14 is due to start sertraline soon and forewarned is forearmed.

I’m on a low dose 25mgs. I didnt want tablets but the GP gave them to me anyway to help.

I think I may actually have a stomach bug, so not sure if it is the Setraline or just poor timing with the bug.

Yes it's very common, I'm on 150mg atm starting dose was 50mg felt rubbish the first week on them but now I feel great!
It's made me realise how down I actually was, hope they work for you to!

I've been on 150mg for a couple of years now. Felt awful in them at first but persevere.

I tend to find if I'm not precise at the time I take them then I tend to feel sick the next day. Like you I freaked out and thought I was pregnant at first coz it just s3emed to be in the morning Hmm but apart from that no.
