I’ve been prescribed it for chronic pain, Palindromic rheumatism and fibromyalgia.

First week on it. Had the prescription in the cupboard for a month as I didn’t need think I was someone who would take AD’s.

Of course I’m googling it and there are some horror stories.

Any experiences to share?

I've been taking this for about five months. I've been taking 60 mg.

I found it helped immensely with my chronic pain. It helped lift my mood a little too. However ... and it's a big however ... I struggle to sleep. I'm so tired that in itself that is causing me to feel depressed Sad I take it first thing in the morning as recommended but it still keeps me awake quite a lot. I wake several times in the night and rarely feel like I've had enough sleep.

I also find that my feelings are a little "numb" and it has affected me sexually too (inability to orgasm or become aroused).

However, this will be different with everyone so you may not have these problems.

I'm trying to come off it now but after reducing my dose too fast I had the dreaded brain "zaps", so am now reducing it very slowly.

I hope you get on well with it and as I said it seems to be great for pain.

I've been on it twice, and am in the midst of my second go.
I'm numb sexually, for the most part. Pain wise it's a bit better. Anxiety isn't better. Depression is much better.
