Anxiety or something else?

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but it's been bothering me for a while.

At work, my job can sometimes be demanding. I can cope generally but if suddenly several things happen at once or I've not done something as quickly as I could, or not prioritised properly I seem to go into panic mode.

The panic makes me almost shut down, I can sit there and panic inside. Instead of just figuring out what to do first and making a start I procrastinate massively, which only makes it worse. I'm ok if I can talk myself around and make a start, but it takes quite a bit of doing.

Is this a form of anxiety or something else? Any suggestions on how I can manage it/stop having reactions like this?

Could well be - I'm not a doctor sadly though. If you can spot it happening, I would take a break - get up, walk away, get a cuppa, go outside, and then come back to it afresh.

Thank you. That's what I try to do, it's just a bit scary as I feel the sorry building up and shutting me down. I wish I could stop it happening.
