Does anyone know the average waiting time for group counselling? I self refereed to my local mental health facility back in August for counselling for my anxiety, had a phone consultation at the beginning of December and they thought group therapies would be best for me and said they would be back in touch with dates in the new year, but still haven’t heard anything.
I thought I may have heard back by now, but appreciate mental health is severely underfunded, but just wanted a bit of a guideline on how long I may be waiting.
