Anger Issues

I've been suffering with depression and anxiety for the past few months. I am on medication and seeking counselling help but it hasn't started yet. My boyfriend is getting fed up with my anger problems, turning molehills into mountains and staying angry for far too long. We are on the brink of a break up.

How have other people dealt with irrational anger issues?

This sounds exactly like me, I have such bad anger problems. I am losing my boyfriend too. I have BPD, does your medication not help? I am at my wits end with everything. Nothing works for me 😭

Hi Lozxx thanks for writing to me. To answer your question my medication isn't helping much. My good days are better but my bad days are just as bad if not worse. Im going to speak to my GP again next week. I've made some changes this week that will hopefully help. Getting private counselling arranged, found a weekly group meeting, joining a gym (not for physical reasons) , bought 2 journals( one for mindfulness and positivity and one to write down my bad thoughts), started a new hobby and also arranged to spend more time with my family. This week hasn't been great. My boyfriend is avoiding me. I dont know if he needs space or is just bad at breaking up with people but even though this would normally set me off, I have actually had a better week than usual.
