Struggling today with anxiety/OCD

Im struggling today and have finaly olucked up the courage to post a thread.
Ive been suffering with anxiety/OCD for years and am currently paying for private therapy as CBT made me worse.
My trigger at the moment is dog poo and there have been 9 on the path outside my dc school in the last 2 days alone, most have been trodden in and unless you can fly theres no getting around the smears from where someone has walked through it. I keep cleaning but everything still feels dirty and contaminated.
Why are people such dirty fuckers? Outside a fucking school Angry

Maybe politely ask the staff at the school to send a letter to parents saying that if they bring their pet dog with them when they pick up their child could they please make sure they pick up any doo doos their dog dies along the way. Wink

OP,

It's great you have got the courage to post.

I agree with you about the dog poo....................makes my blood boil too.

I wish you luck in your recovery.

Thank you for your kind messages. Feeling slightly better today.
The school has tried with emails, notices in the newsletters. Ive tried to involve the council (as have others) but the parish council would rather spend their time on vanity projects rather than actual issues in the village. One of the councillors actually said no its a waste of time and money to the suggestions of larger notices. Its one thing to leave dog mess on an unused off the beaten track area, but to leave it directly outside a primary school/nursery.
