So it's my birthday. 28. I for the millionth time since turning 16 haven't slept in the last 29 hours. I'm exhausted, crying, having anxiety attacks. Cancelling my plans for tomorrow and absolutely terrified at the prospect of having to see anyone tomorrow.

I've tried everything.

Why can't I just sleep like normal people? It's such a lonely life being like this 😭

What is it that terrifies you about tomorrow?

You’re not alone, there are lots of us anxious lonely people about to help each other through Flowers

There are pills that can make you sleep. What have you tried?

Feel for you OP, I don’t sleep either and it’s bloody miserable

Not that pills are the solution to everything; just that if you’re desperate for sleep they can help at the most stressful times.

Ideally, yes, you need to be able to establish some kind of sleep routines without them but given how desperate you sound you can try pills from Time to time. And then, when you’ve had a few nights sleep that way you can try to plan for future sleeplessness.

I’m a lifelong insomniac. I feel your pain.
