Hi I’m new to starting this medication and i haven’t taken it yet because I’m really anxious about it making me more anxious haha I work in a call centre job where the lights are bright and make me anxious and I feel it might make me more anxious and I’m too scared to take it before bed because I have nightmares as it is... I know counselling isn’t for me but I’m just so nervous about panick attacks or sucking at my job as I’m still in my probation any advice?

I have been prescribed this today and am feeling very nervous just the same as you. I could have written your post myself. I'll watch with interest to hear people's thoughts. Good luck!

do you have a couple of days off soon? like the weekend? wait until then. get yourself some trashy magazines or netflix shows, something easy for your stomach (for me lucozade to sip on, chips to eat) and get your duvet on the sofa.

the side effects arent extreme, but they can make you feel a bit jittery and sick the first couple of days. i take mine at night, to try sleep off any side effects, but some people prefer morning.

after 1-2 weeks they disappear, and you will feel much better. i actually broke my 50mg in half and took 25mg for the first week, you could try that
