Just moved house and still feeling depressed. Everything is new in here but can't seem to get out of this rut in feeling down. My little boy is 4 now and I am a single parent don't know whether this could be it but feel as if my life is going nowhere at the mo.

Moving house IS stressful. Ours went wrong so many times, I came within a cm of having a nervous breakdown!

Be gentle on yourself, allow for the fact that moving is a tiring business.

Do you know anyone in the area you've moved to? If not, how about inviting a friend to stay, then going out to explore the area together?

What are your interests? Is there anywhere you could go to meet people?

Hope you feel better soon!

Have you seen your GP?
Have you thought about working? Doing a course? How much help do you have? (family, friends)

Some depression is a chemical imbalence in the brain hence the need for medication in some situations (your GP can tell you more) other types of depression can be cause by your situation.

How long have you felt like this for? Was it triggered by anything? Could it just be you're feeling tired? Or is it something else? Do your friends know how you feel?

Sorry, lots of questions!
