Psychiatrist recommendations, preferably in London

Can anybody recommend a psychiatrist in London for depression.

Any suggestions gratefully received and please feel free to PM with suggestions or post to the thread.

Dr John Meehan is exceptional, although I didn't see him for depression. He's wonderful, compassionate and very knowledgeable.

I forgot to say in my original post that I was looking for someone private. (Unfortunately I'm getting nowhere with the NHS / my GP).

He does private work too. I saw him through the NHS but he is on BUPA.

I really like how he took the time to explain things to me, he really does believe in transparency and sharing knowledge with you.
