Convincing DH to see Dr

I am concerned my DH has mild depression, he's not happy with his job and whilst he's never been overly ambitious, recently this has become a more defeatist attitude with him saying "What's the point?" when talking about alternatives. He's also quite unmotivated around the house and talks about feeling down on an almost weekly basis. I've suggested it might be mild depression but he has the stereotypical man reaction to this and just pretends everything's fine for a couple of weeks. It's wearing me down but I don't know how to convince him it might be an idea just to talk to someone about it. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
