Really hoping that someone knows what I mean!

I had PND after my dd was born, and ever since I weaned myself off them (stupid I knoow), it feels like it could come back when I have low days.

Is there anything I can do to stop it coming back?

I'm hopefully having the contraceptive implant taken out, as it seems to make me irritable, and I'm also wondering if this could be the cause of my low days?

i know exactly what you mean, that sort of only just keeping your head above water feeling.

did you say you weaned yourself of ad's?maybe you should go back to your gp and get some more if thats the case, you might not have been ready(i tried to stop my ad's 3 weeks ago when my baby was 4 weeks old cos i thought i was fine, but i had to go back on them again cos i clearly wasnt).

ive heard the implants can cause problems.im having my marina coil out on monday cos ive felt awful since it was put in.i cant tolerate progesterone and i wasnt told it can get into your system with the iUS.

have you got an alternative sorted?

I never had PND but I was depressed in my 20's and always fear it coming back. On low days I make myself get out in the fresh air and take some exercise and I find that helps.
