Just a note to say that a recent tribunal ruling has decided that those with mental health may be entitled to the enhanced mobility rate of PIPs

"the tribunal decided that claimants who need help with familiar routes because of overwhelming psychological distress could be eligible for the enhanced mobility
component"

Apparently Esther 'bitch' McVey has backed down and the DWP is going to have to go through previous claimants applications and review them and backdate. Don't know how they can do that but just in case anyone is interested!

Yep it is!!

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/society/2018/jan/19/esther-mcvey-makes-disability-benefits-u-turn-over-payments

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.aol.co.uk/news/2018/01/19/ministers-back-down-over-disability-benefit-payments-to-164-000/amp/

All claims - every single one - are going g to be reviewed by the DWP to find those affected by the ruling and backdated. Lots more staff are going to be employed to fascilitate this!
