I've been on that and mirtazapine together. How are you finding the combo?

Today is first day if them both as i didnt feel the mirtazepine was doing much apart help with sleep. How do you find then? X

I was on fluoxetine first but eventually I started getting panic attacks so they switched to mirtazapine but I felt like a zombie so they gave me both to try and hit the middle ground. 20mg fluoxetine in the morning and 15mg mirtazapine at night. Was brilliant!

Unfortunately I moved up north and the GPs here refused point blank to give me that combination saying I had to be under mental health supervision re blood pressure etc (I have healthy blood pressure) and potential stomach issues (healthy there too) and were somewhat surprised I was allowed this combo. Been at 2 practices here and both said the same. I can't fathom it. (Budget maybe?) I'm on sertraline now and that's good but not as good as the combo you're on.

I hope you feel better soon and I'm glad you have access to a GP that's given you, in my opinion, the best depression medication I've ever been on. Thanks

Take the fluoxetine with plenty of water. The tablets seemed to dissolve really quickly and I used to find they burned on the way down if you didn't was them down well enough.

I'm still waiting. 6 months and counting...

Ohno so are you not on anything now? Are you feeling better. Did they not give much explanation as to why you couldnt have botb? X
