This time of year always throws my health anxiety into overdrive.

I’m starting to get on my husbands nerves but I absolutely hate winter. The media seem to revel in letting us all know that we’re going to succumb to the ‘killer’ flu and there is always a breaking out of Norovirus somewhere nearby.
I dread going anywhere crowded and have taken to keeping my gloves on in the supermarket after seeing a women last week sneezing repeatedly into her hands then picking up her basket!
My rational brain (which occasional makes an appearance!) will tell me this is all normal and part of life but when you have health anxiety and anxiety in general it just makes everything so much worse. Doesn’t help that I had the flu last winter and it wiped me out for weeks and I’m so fearful of getting it again😦
Please tell me I’m not alone in my fears as everyone around me is basically telling me to get a grip (bloody easier said than done!)

Check out the anxiety guy on YouTube he has quite a few videos/podcasts on health anxiety which are really helpful!. I suffer with this too and also hate this time of year for illnesses so your not alone in feeling like that.
