Hi, I'm finding it very hard to be excited about what my kids tell me, and also, I used to love the school run and chatting, now I feel like I'm just watching lots of happy people... I hope this lifts soon xx

I have a 3 year old DS who has just started nursery, my DP is currently off work for a week so we are doing the pick ups and drop offs together but next week it will just be me, I'm terrified! A couple of years ago it would of been no problem, I had the most wonderful remission from years of mental health problems, I could of made small talk with brick wall but now that lovely reprieve has ended and it's back to anxiety induced awkwardness and trying to find the mental energy through a cloud of depression to even want to engage with other people.

I've often wondered how other Mums with mental health problems cope, having children is mentally draining and when you're running on empty already everyday is a huge uphill battle.

Finding time and headspace to address your own needs feels like an impossible task, I've discovered I can hold in a panic attack for days! Or at least the peak of one.
