Fluoxetine whilst TTC

Hi

The GP prescribed me fluoxetine this morning, I’ve never taken any AD before. I’ve had 4 miscarriages in past 2 years and I am really struggling. I’m worried about starting the tablets then getting pregnant and having to come off or change. Has anyone else taken this whilst TTC? Thanks

Hi I'm also ttc. I was on Flouxitine. My GP told me not to ttc whilst on it (but then she was of the opinion DH and I shouldnt have kids due to DHs mental illness ) I did my own research and found that theres no evidence of any risks in early pregnancy and a slight increased risk in 3rd trimester. I ended up Mirtazapine instead as Flouxitine wasn't working and that has completely messed my cycles up have now found out that it can stop you ovulating.
