Flowers that sounds really tough, 5 weeks is still early days in terms of ADs. Take the pressure off to feel better and take it one day at a time. Has your GP refered you for any therapy alongside the ADs? If not this would be wirth asking about.

hi nolongeranxiouscarer thanks for your reply! no she hasnt referred me as she said the waiting time is so long, id hopefully be feeling better about time the apointment came through! id started speaking to a family member so felt slightly better for a while but i feel like i have a good few days then a really bad week! i just dont no how to cope with it everytime i get something in my head, it just consumes my whole life until i go the doctors and she tells me im not about to get diagnosed with something awful! im taking citrolapram but if im honest i dont understand how that will stop me thinking how i do! and when i come off them ill just be back to how i am now! sorry for such a long post.

My GP said the same, that there was no point refering me because the waiting list was sk long. I wasn't strong enough to argue with her at the timeand wish I had now looking back as I ended up paying privately several months later when things hhadn't improved. I would tell her you want to be refered as at least then you will be working your way up the waiting list. If you are better and don't need it you can always cancel it later, if you are not refered and find you do need it later then you will have to wait even longer.
